Warm, cozy and nice: That’s how students at St. Sava Orthodox School in Milwaukee describe their hats, which are made by an anonymous 80-year-old woman who lives in Colorado. The woman, who identifies herself only as Nora, knits the brightly colored hats for students who read a certain number of books. It takes Nora about three hours to knit one hat.
